Oriente Petrolero thrashes Blooming 3-0 in the Cruceño derby

Oriente Petrolero imposed its style on the 208th Cruceño derby, defeating Blooming 3-0 at Tahuichi Aguilera Stadium in Santa Cruz de la Sierra.

Blooming started with greater attacking intent and created the clearest early chances. Moisés Villarroel sent a left-footed shot narrowly wide, while Gilmar Centella later set up Roberto Melgar, whose effort also missed the right post.

Oriente began finding space after the 23rd minute by switching quickly from defense to attack. The breakthrough came in the 28th minute when Lovera delivered a corner, Pinto won the aerial challenge and Franz González finished after the ball rebounded off a Blooming defender.

The goal changed the match. Blooming had produced more attacking pressure, but Oriente proved more clinical and went into halftime ahead. The victory gave Oriente its first points in the Copa Bolivia, while Blooming remained without a response to its recent negative results.
