Nigerian-American actress and television host Osas Ighodaro has landed a leading role in the upcoming Nolly-Bollywood micro-drama series, "Imported Bahu." The project, officially unveiled by executive producer Hamisha Daryani Ahuja, pairs Ighodaro with Bollywood actor Rajniesh Duggall in a narrative centered on love, hidden family secrets, and a romance that transcends cultural boundaries.

Ahuja announced the production via Instagram, describing "Imported Bahu" as her production company Forever 7 Entertainment's inaugural vertical micro-drama series. She expressed excitement about finally sharing the project, which has been in development for months. The series promises a compelling story of love and secrets, with Ighodaro's character, the "Imported Bahu," set to disrupt the status quo.

"Imported Bahu" is slated for a July 2, 2026 premiere, exclusively on LebaraPlay, Africa's first telecom-owned micro-drama platform. Ahuja, known for her work in fostering collaborations between Nollywood and Bollywood, has previously produced successful projects like "Namaste Wahala" and "Postcards," aiming to bridge African and Indian storytelling through diverse productions.
