OSCT Indonesia Introduces New Director General, Affirms Commitment to Marine Environmental Protection

PT OSCT Indonesia has reinforced its collaboration with the North Java Coastal Management Authority (BOPPJ), focusing on marine environmental protection and improving readiness for sea pollution incidents. This strengthened partnership was highlighted during a visit by BOPPJ officials to PT OSCT Indonesia's headquarters on Friday, July 17, 2026.

The visit also served as the official introduction of the company's new Director General, Mayjen TNI (Purn) Kukuh Surya Sigit Sentosa. OSCT Indonesia, known as the Oil Spill Combat Team Indonesia, is a prominent private national firm dedicated to oil spill response, operating as one of Indonesia's largest private centers for such services.

This meeting aimed to bolster synergy in managing coastal areas and enhance preparedness for potential marine pollution. During the event, Mayjen TNI (Purn) Kukuh Surya Sigit Sentosa was formally presented to BOPPJ representatives and invited guests. PT OSCT Indonesia presented a souvenir to Suhajar Diantoro, the Deputy Head II of BOPPJ, as a token of appreciation for their visit.

Following the introductions, guests toured the operational facilities at PT OSCT Indonesia's headquarters, where they received a briefing on the company's capabilities in providing Oil Spill Response Equipment (OSRE) and its operational coordination systems designed to manage potential pollution incidents in Indonesian waters. PT OSCT Indonesia reiterated its commitment to enhancing cooperation with government bodies, related agencies, and stakeholders to improve national readiness against marine pollution and support the preservation of Indonesia's coastal ecosystems and maritime environment.
