Osun Election: Get your PVC, it is your power, Oyebamiji tells supporters

Bola Oyebamiji, the governorship candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming August 15 Osun governorship election, has urged residents to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs). Speaking to supporters in Ifelodun, Boripe, and Odo-Otin local government areas, Oyebamiji emphasized that the PVC is the key to determining the state's future.

I am urging you to keep your PVC safe. Those who just registered, please go and collect it on time. Liaise with our party officials at the local government level to make the process easier. Once you get it, don’t sell it. It is your power and your licence to participate in the August 15 election.

Oyebamiji, also known as AMBO, encouraged those who had already obtained their cards to keep them safe and urged newly registered voters to collect theirs promptly. He stressed the importance of the PVC as "your power and your licence to participate in the August 15 election," advising supporters to liaise with party officials to facilitate the process. He also cautioned against selling their PVCs.

I, Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, assure you that once elected governor, we will not discriminate against any part of the state. Our manifesto will address every sector. For rural communities, our focus is to use agriculture to grow the economy and provide basic infrastructure that will support farmers and reduce hunger. We will also give adequate attention to healthcare, education and commerce.

During a meeting with traditional rulers in Odo-Otin Local Government Area, Oyebamiji outlined his plans if elected. He pledged to prioritize education, healthcare, and agriculture, ensuring balanced development throughout Osun State. His manifesto, he stated, would address all sectors, with a particular focus on using agriculture to boost the rural economy and provide essential infrastructure to support farmers and reduce hunger.
