Osun poll: INEC's PVC collection method causes suffering, says APC chieftain

An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Nigeria's Osun State has voiced concerns over the Independent National Electoral Commission's (INEC) process for collecting Permanent Voter's Cards (PVCs). Olatunbosun Oyintiloye described the current method as one that subjects voters to suffering and called for a more effective and citizen-friendly framework.

Oyintiloye emphasized that simplifying the PVC collection process is crucial for boosting voter turnout and enabling more citizens to exercise their constitutional rights. He encouraged voters not to be discouraged by the cumbersome procedures and urged them to collect their cards and participate in the election.

Expressing optimism about the APC's prospects in the upcoming governorship election, Oyintiloye cited widespread acceptance and support for the party's candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji. He believes the "goodwill and enthusiasm shown by residents indicated strong confidence in the APC candidate," positioning the party for victory.
