However, Onoh called on Davido to apologize to lawmaker James Faleke, who represents Ikeja Federal Constituency. Onoh stated Davido was wrong to accuse Faleke of pressuring the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to manipulate the election for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate. Onoh defended Faleke, calling him a man of "pristine democratic credentials" who has been repeatedly re-elected based on his dedication and representation. He urged Davido to retract the allegation and apologize, emphasizing that political disagreements should not devolve into personal attacks.

Onoh also commended President Tinubu for his commitment to preserving democratic processes during the Osun election, stating the President's approach helped create an environment where voters could exercise their franchise.
