#OsunDecides2026: Calm Atmosphere, Moderate Turnout in Ejigbo Election

The Osun governorship election is underway in Ejigbo Local Government Area, with a calm atmosphere and moderate voter turnout observed in Moyofade Ward 14. Residents began arriving at polling units around 8 a.m. to participate in the democratic process.

Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) ad hoc staff were present at their designated locations, prepared for accreditation and voting. The Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) devices were reported to be functioning properly. Voters were seen checking the voter register displayed on the walls before proceeding with accreditation.

Security personnel have been deployed across various locations within the ward to maintain order and ensure the peaceful conduct of the election. As of the time of reporting, voter turnout was described as moderate. However, some party agents and voters expressed optimism that more residents would cast their ballots as the day progresses.
