Osun Election: ‘I was treated with respect,’ physically challenged woman says

Aminat Akinsola, a physically challenged voter, shared her satisfaction with the treatment she received while casting her ballot in the ongoing Osun governorship election on Saturday.

Akinsola, who voted at Ejigbo Ward 4, Unit 6, highlighted the respectful attention and assistance provided to her due to her condition. "I'm so happy because I was treated with respect while I was trying to cast my vote. I was even the first person to be accredited," she stated.

She commended the peaceful nature of the voting process and expressed her hope that the election's final results would accurately represent the desires of the Osun State populace.

Meanwhile, security personnel were observed maintaining order at the polling unit, coordinating efforts to ensure voters could cast their ballots without disruption. Young voters were also organized separately by gender as part of measures to facilitate an orderly voting process.
