Tension flared at the polling unit of Osun State Deputy Governor Prince Kola Adewusi during Saturday's governorship election in Ile-Ife.

The confrontation erupted when Benjamin Kayode Adereti, the deputy governorship candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), arrived at Adewusi's designated polling unit. Adereti had already cast his vote at his own polling station before proceeding to visit the deputy governor's location.
