Officers were first alerted on Saturday morning to Blue Willow Park in the city's east end, where a resident reported pills strewn about in a "suspicious manner." Upon arrival, police found a variety of pills near bushes, trees, on the grass, and even hidden within acorns. A similar discovery was made on Sunday at a park on Silverbirch Street.

In total, over 100 pills have been seized and are currently undergoing analysis to determine their composition and potential risks. Police are advising parents, caregivers, and pet owners to be vigilant and closely monitor children and animals while in the affected park areas.
