Over 140 Migrants Feared Dead Off Mauritania Coast

More than 140 migrants are feared dead following several incidents involving boats off the coast of Mauritania. The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) reported on Tuesday that the individuals were attempting the perilous journey from West Africa to Europe, specifically targeting the Canary Islands.
