Over 2,500 flats with wait times of around 3 years or less to be offered in June BTO exercise

Singapore's Housing and Development Board (HDB) is set to launch 2,520 Build-to-Order (BTO) flats in its upcoming June sales exercise, with a significant focus on shorter waiting times. These flats will be available across three projects in Sembawang and Ang Mo Kio, representing over a third of the approximately 6,900 total flats to be offered.

Two of these projects, Sembawang Portico and Sembawang Brook, are specifically designed as shorter waiting time projects in the new Sembawang North estate. Sembawang Portico will offer 875 units of various flat types with an estimated wait time of two years and seven months. Sembawang Brook will provide 1,160 units, including 3Gen flats for multi-generational families, with a wait time of two years and nine months.

The third project, Kebun Baru Ridge in Ang Mo Kio, will offer 485 units of 3-room and 4-room flats. This project has a projected wait time of three years and one month. HDB has also implemented measures to ensure amenities like cooked food centers, childcare facilities, and minimarts are operational shortly after residents receive their keys, aiming to improve the living experience from the outset.
