Over 200 kilograms of drugs seized during police raid on Hod Hasharon plant nursery

Israeli police uncovered a significant drug trafficking operation during a raid on a plant nursery in Hod Hasharon, seizing over 200 kilograms of marijuana and hashish. The drugs were found concealed within various food products, including chocolate bars, cookies, and candy, all prepared for immediate distribution.

The discovery was the result of an undercover operation by the Kfar Saba Police’s Special Crime Unit, which exposed the nursery as a distribution hub for a large-scale drug network. During the raid, officers arrested four suspects, all residents of central Israel.

The court has extended the detention of the four suspects until Monday, based on the investigation's findings. This operation is part of a broader, ongoing effort by law enforcement to crack down on drug trafficking and distribution networks throughout Israel. In late June, a similar raid in Haifa resulted in the confiscation of seven kilograms of cannabis products.
