Owner Lashes Out at Player Over 'Crazy' Joke About Coach Relationship

FCSB owner Gigi Becali has strongly criticized captain Florin Tănase for an "inappropriate" and "crazy" remark made after a recent 0-0 draw against Sepsi. Tănase had been asked about his relationship with coach Marius Baciu, to which he responded ironically, "Coach-player relationship, what relationship? I have a wife."

Becali, speaking to Prima Sport, lambasted the comment, stating, "Only a crazy person says that!" He emphasized that players must execute orders and that Tănase's joke, implying a sexual relationship between himself and the coach, was unacceptable. "You can't make jokes like that. You have to have something wrong in your head to say something like that," Becali asserted.
