Padang City seeks Foreign Ministry support for Batang Arau River revitalization in Indonesia-Germany talks

The project, which has already benefited from a technical study by German experts, aims to implement advanced wastewater treatment technology, specifically the Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR) system. This technology is recognized for its efficiency in treating wastewater by utilizing specialized plastic media for bacterial growth to break down pollutants, while also ensuring separate piping for wastewater and rainwater.
