Dubai-based Pakistani singer Sonia Majeed has released a new musical tribute, 'Sharjah,' dedicated to His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. The song aims to honor the emirate's significant contributions to knowledge, education, heritage, culture, compassion, and humanity.

Majeed described the tribute as a "heartfelt expression of love, gratitude, respect and loyalty," representing the sentiments of the Asian community residing in the UAE. She emphasized that 'Sharjah' is more than just a song; it is a celebration of the emirate's unique cultural identity and its forward-looking vision, highlighting the harmonious coexistence of heritage and modernity.

Officially released on major digital and online music platforms, 'Sharjah' carries a message of respect and gratitude from Dubai and the wider Asian community to audiences worldwide. Majeed, a multifaceted artist known for her work in pop, R&B, soul, and Sufi/Ghazal music, has a history of cultural contributions, including being the first non-UAE national to sing the UAE National Anthem. The song was written by Imrana Majeed and directed by Samran Warsi, produced by Dollywood Productions in the UAE.
