Paraguay prepares electoral kits for October municipal elections

Paraguay's Superior Electoral Justice Tribunal (TSJE) is actively preparing the electoral kits for the upcoming municipal elections on October 4. Officials have commenced the distribution of materials and supplies to departmental coordination centers across the country.

The initial deliveries are targeting the departments of Concepción, San Pedro, and Cordillera. This logistical effort aims to ensure that all necessary electoral materials are available on time for the smooth execution of the election day. The elections will cover all 263 districts nationwide, with citizens choosing mayors and council members for the 2026-2031 term.

In parallel with the material distribution, the TSJE is proceeding with its electoral calendar. Candidate training sessions for Civic Board members have begun. Furthermore, officials assigned to the Scanning and Transmission Centers (CTX) are undergoing crucial training. Preparations for the distribution of CTX kits for simulations are scheduled between July 23 and July 31.
