Paraguay's ANDE offers final week for debt relief promotion

Paraguay's National Electricity Administration (ANDE) is urging customers to take advantage of its "Ñande Ahorro 2026" promotion before it ends on July 31. This initiative offers a lifeline to users with outstanding electricity debts, providing flexible payment options and relief from accumulated penalties.

For low-voltage users, the promotion allows debts to be split into up to 60 installments, with all late fees and interest charges completely waived. The first payment under these plans is not due until the next billing cycle. High-voltage users have a financing option requiring a 20% down payment, with the remaining balance payable in up to 10 interest-free installments. This specific benefit does not apply to the Special Intensive Consumption Group.

Customers who prefer to settle their outstanding bills in full can also benefit from the promotion. Paying off overdue invoices in a single transaction will result in the waiver of late fees for both low and high-voltage users, excluding the special intensive consumption group. This option is designed for those who can clear their debt at once and wish to avoid long-term payment commitments.

Beyond debt resolution, "Ñande Ahorro 2026" also extends benefits to new customers. Low-voltage users seeking to formalize their electricity service can defer their connection fee payment to their next bill. Additionally, existing low-voltage customers who are up-to-date with their payments can perform two key administrative tasks free of charge: updating their account ownership and updating their service details.
