Paraguayan international Arnaldo Báez joins El Ejido for futsal league debut

SurSeeds El Ejido has secured its first signing for its upcoming debut season in Spain's División de Honor de Fútbol Sala with the acquisition of Paraguayan international Arnaldo Báez. The 30-year-old player arrives after completing a three-season stint with Córdoba Patrimonio de la Humanidad, where he established himself as a consistent performer in the top national futsal division.

During his time in Córdoba, Báez participated in 64 league games, contributing 17 goals to the team's efforts. His experience in Spanish futsal follows a significant international career. Prior to his move to Spain, he played for Cerro Porteño, a prominent club in Paraguay, where he competed in multiple Copa Libertadores de Fútbol Sala tournaments and achieved domestic success.

Báez's international journey also includes playing for Sparta Prague in the Czech Republic and Kazma Sport Club in Kuwait. As a full international for Paraguay, he has represented his country on the global stage, including appearances in the FIFA Futsal World Cup and the Copa América.
