Pasbata Prabowo Chairman: Don't Politicize Projo Chief's Statement on Prabowo's Term

David Febrian, Chairman of Pasbata Prabowo, has called for restraint in interpreting the recent statement by Budi Arie Setiadi, the Chairman of Projo, regarding the potential duration of President Prabowo's administration.

Febrian urged that Budi Arie's prediction, suggesting President Prabowo might not serve until 2029, should not be turned into a new political controversy. He emphasized that Setiadi's remarks should be understood in their full context as a reaction to political dynamics already present in public discourse.

The Pasbata Prabowo chairman highlighted that the initial context for Setiadi's statement involved existing discussions about the possibility of the Indonesian President not completing the full five-year term. Additionally, there have been calls for Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka to resign.

Febrian specifically pointed to statements made by former Deputy Minister of Law and Human Rights, Denny Indrayana. "Don't reverse the issue.
