Filed by Advocate Kashif Ali Malik, the petitions target PIC orders requiring the PCB to disclose its annual budgets for 2023-2025, detailed expenditure, policies on information confidentiality, and specifics on who traveled for the recent T20 World Cup. The second petition concerns information related to Pakistan's national team.

The PCB's move signals a resistance to making sensitive financial and operational data public, raising questions about accountability and the extent of transparency expected from the national sports governing body.
