Pelita Jaya Jakarta secured a crucial 93-79 victory over Dewa United Banten in the second game of their IBL 2026 semifinal series, leveling the best-of-five contest at 1-1. The win, achieved at Pelita Jaya Arena in Jakarta, demonstrated the team's resilience after losing the opening game.

Head coach David Singleton praised his players for understanding and executing the game plan effectively, highlighting their connected performance on both offense and defense. "I am very happy to see the players together understanding the game plan and connecting well defensively and offensively," Singleton stated after the match. He expressed pride in his team's response to the initial defeat against a challenging Dewa United squad.

The key to Pelita Jaya's success, according to Singleton, was maintaining consistent intensity and effective offense and defense throughout the game. The team also improved ball control, particularly in the final two quarters. "When we play the way we want to on defense, it's very hard to stop us. I also believe this team can still get better," he added.
