State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi visited the construction site of a "Sekolah Rakyat" (People's School) in Remboken District, Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi, to ensure the project aligns with its timeline and supports the acceleration of educational access for the community. The project is being undertaken by PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero).

Hadi inspected the construction progress on Friday, May 29, 2026, and expressed his appreciation for the workers involved. The "Sekolah Rakyat" initiative is a government program aimed at broadening access to inclusive and quality education. The new school is expected to provide greater opportunities for children to receive a proper education, thereby enhancing the quality of human resources. The Minahasa People's School is designed as an integrated boarding education area, encompassing primary, junior high, and senior high school levels. It will also feature housing for teachers, a mosque, a multipurpose hall, a canteen, and sports facilities.

Dian Sovana, Corporate Secretary of Brantas Abipraya, emphasized the company's commitment to quality, timeliness, and work safety in the construction. "We ensure that the construction of the People's School is not only completed on time but also meets the best quality standards while prioritizing work safety," Sovana said. She added that the project demonstrates the collaboration between the government and State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) in expanding equitable access to education across various regions, contributing to the development of a space for Indonesia's youth to grow.
