People Use Piers at Lake Milada Despite Ban, While Bird Protection Delays Work

Six new piers have been floating on Lake Milada near Ústí nad Labem for several weeks, offering swimmers an easier route into the water. Officially, however, visitors still cannot use them, even though many people have already tried them.

The restricted access has become a topic of discussion among visitors and swimmers at the site, as well as on social media. The main question is why the piers were not available during the summer season.

Bird protection is also slowing work at the lake. The combination of unfinished access and environmental restrictions has left the new facilities visible but officially out of reach.
