Person falls from bridge in Kaunas, dies en route to hospital

Tragedy struck in Kaunas, Lithuania, on Saturday morning when an individual fell from the Aleksotas Bridge. Emergency services responded promptly to the scene after receiving a report of the incident at 8:03 a.m.

Firefighters arrived to find the person lying unconscious on the pedestrian path beneath the bridge. Despite being found without consciousness, the individual still exhibited signs of life. Firefighters worked alongside medical personnel, assisting in carefully moving the person into a waiting ambulance.

The injured individual was then transported to a medical facility for urgent treatment. However, despite the efforts of emergency responders and medical staff, the man, born in 1959, tragically passed away. Police confirmed that his life was lost while en route to the hospital.
