Pertamina Trans Kontinental Ignites Sovereignty Spirit on Land and Sea

PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PTK) infused its workplaces with a spirit of nationalism to commemorate Indonesia's 81st Independence Day. The maritime services company decorated its headquarters in North Jakarta and its vessels with creative, colorful red and white themes, utilizing eco-friendly and recycled materials. These decorations aimed not only to beautify the workspace but also to strengthen unity and evoke pride among PTK employees, referred to as "Perwira PTK," in their homeland.

Amran Reza, VP Legal & Relation at PTK, stated that the company views independence as more than a visual celebration. He explained that this moment serves as an effort for "Perwira PTK" to enhance unity and commitment to safeguarding Indonesia's maritime sovereignty and supporting environmental sustainability for a sovereign, just, and prosperous Indonesia. Reza also highlighted PTK's strategic role in the nation's waters, emphasizing that its sustainable operations are expected to contribute positively to Indonesia's economic growth and sovereignty.

"As a player in the integrated logistics and maritime services sector, PTK is determined to continue supporting national maritime sovereignty and improving reliable, safe, and high-standard services for all customers," Reza asserted. PTK, a subsidiary of Pertamina International Shipping's Integrated Marine Logistics Subholding, operates four business lines: supporting vessel provision, port services, shorebase logistics, and shipping agency services. The company manages a fleet of 370 vessels across Indonesian waters.
