Peru: Over 23,000 Health Professionals Take SERUMS 2026-II Evaluation; Results Due Aug. 14

More than 23,000 health professionals across Peru took part in the SERUMS 2026-II evaluation on August 9, marking a significant step in the process for allocating positions within the Rural and Urban Marginal Health Service.

The evaluation, conducted simultaneously at 29 locations nationwide, included professionals from various health science fields such as Psychology, Biology, Medical Technology, Sanitary Engineering, Social Work, and Veterinary Medicine. This comprehensive assessment is a prerequisite for professionals seeking to serve in public health facilities throughout the country.

According to the official schedule, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) is set to release the final results on Friday, August 14, 2026. This date marks the completion of the seventh phase of the calendar established by the National SERUMS Technical Team, the Planning Directorate (DIPLAN), and the Directorate General of Health Personnel (DIGEP).

The publication of these results will enable the continuation of subsequent stages in the allocation process for the SERUMS 2026-II positions. Participants are advised to monitor the official Ministry of Health website for the confirmed list of approved candidates.
