Peru Police Arrest Suspect in Mayor's Murder

Police in Piura, Peru, have apprehended Fabricio Fiestas Susanival, known as "Fabri," a suspect allegedly responsible for the assassination of Hugo Febre Calle, the mayor of Veintiséis de Octubre district. The arrest occurred in the La Brea-Negritos district of Talara. Authorities also connect Susanival to the injuries sustained by driver Jorge Chau Aranda and the recent homicide of Astrid Heredia Ortiz in Talara.
