Peru's ONP Sets September 2026 Pension Payment Schedule

The Peruvian Pension Normalization Office (ONP) has released its official payment schedule for September 2026, detailing when pensioners from different regimes can expect their funds. This calendar aims to streamline the distribution process, which includes both direct bank deposits and home delivery services.

Pensioners enrolled under Decree Law No. 19990, a significant group, will see their payments distributed progressively from September 7 to September 10. The specific date for each pensioner depends on the first letter of their surname. These deposits will be processed through major financial institutions, including Banco de la Nación, BBVA, GNB Perú, Scotiabank, Interbank, and BanBif.

For those under international agreements, payments are slated for September 15. Additionally, beneficiaries of Law No. 27803 will also have their payments processed according to this schedule. The ONP has arranged for home delivery services for this regime to take place between September 14 and September 23, ensuring accessibility for those who require it.

Pensioners belonging to other specific regimes, such as Decree Law No. 18846, Law No. 20530, Law No. 30003 (fishermen), and Law No. 26790 (risk insurance), will receive their payments on September 11. These funds will also be available through the same network of banks. The ONP has specified that for Law No. 26790, Banco de la Nación will provide supplementary coverage for mining and reinsurance funds. Home delivery for these groups is scheduled from September 17 to September 23, further differentiating the payment timelines based on the pension scheme and chosen delivery method.
