PH must self-reflect as Malay support wanes, says Khairy Jamaluddin

Leaders of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition must engage in self-reflection and stop blaming UMNO for the diminishing support among Malay voters, according to former UMNO Youth Chief Khairy Jamaluddin. He asserted that there are evident reasons behind the decline in Malay backing for the current PH government.

Jamaluddin, who also served as the former Health Minister, indicated that he has obtained recent figures reflecting this trend. He suggested that the PH leadership needs to critically examine their policies and actions to understand the growing dissatisfaction among a significant segment of the electorate.

The call for introspection comes amid concerns about the coalition's electoral performance and its ability to retain the confidence of Malay voters. Jamaluddin's remarks imply that a failure to address the root causes of this alienation could further jeopardize PH's political standing.
