Phil Foden signs new contract with Manchester City until 2030

Phil Foden, a lifelong Manchester City player, has committed his future to the club by signing a contract extension until 2030. The 26-year-old midfielder joined City as a nine-year-old and has become a pivotal figure, amassing 20 trophies since his 2017 first-team debut.

His impressive trophy cabinet includes six Premier League titles, five League Cups, three FA Cups, and the Champions League. Foden has made 369 appearances for the club, scoring 110 goals. He stated that playing for Manchester City is his lifelong ambition and he is honored to wear the club's jersey.

Foden also voiced his enthusiasm for working with new manager Enzo Maresca, who was previously an assistant under Pep Guardiola. He believes Maresca's detailed, possession-oriented playing style aligns perfectly with his own game. Foden has also represented England 49 times, scoring four goals.
