PlayStation Plus adds four free games in September

PlayStation Plus will add four games to its monthly catalogue in September, giving subscribers access from Tuesday, September 1, through Monday, October 5. The membership must remain active to keep the licences available.

The lineup begins with Sniper Elite: Resistance from Rebellion Developments. Players take the role of a World War II sniper supporting the French Resistance as it seeks to destroy a secret Nazi weapon through stealth and tactical combat.

MLB The Show 26, developed by San Diego Studio, offers a baseball simulation built around the atmosphere and games of Major League Baseball. PlayStation Plus members will also receive exclusive access to the “Jump Star” package.

Wobbly Life is a physics-based, ragdoll-style open-world game. Players control an awkward character who must explore, work, earn money and buy clothes, vehicles and houses. The game supports solo play and multiplayer with up to three additional players.

The fourth title, Chained Echoes, follows a hero travelling across the continent of Valandis to end a war between its three kingdoms. The journey passes through landscapes ranging from arid plateaus to exotic archipelagos.

Users can access the monthly benefits, discounts and games through their console or Sony’s digital portal. To subscribe, they must open the PlayStation Store, choose one of the Essential, Extra or Deluxe plans, select monthly, quarterly or annual billing, and confirm a payment method. If payment stops, the games will be temporarily blocked and automatically reactivated once the outstanding payment is made.
