Pokemon to Release 30th Anniversary Edition Booster Pack in September 2026

The Pokemon Company is set to launch a special "30th Celebration" booster pack worldwide on September 16, 2026, marking three decades of the Pokemon Trading Card Game. This commemorative product will feature specially designed holographic cards to honor this significant milestone.

A key highlight of the "30th Celebration" pack is the inclusion of cards in the "Futuristic Rare" category, showcasing illustrations by Japanese graphic designer Yoshirotten. Additionally, the pack will contain 30 types of holographic Pikachu cards, each created by a different illustrator, with every package guaranteeing one Pikachu card from this collection.

The booster pack also incorporates 30 selected cards that trace the history of the Pokemon Trading Card Game over the past three decades. These cards will feature iconic characters and card pairings from various series, including the original Charizard and the Pikachu & Zekrom GX from the Sun & Moon series.

This product launch is part of a larger series of celebrations for the 30th anniversary of the Pokemon Trading Card Game, which first debuted in 1996 and has since grown into one of the world's most popular collectible card games.
