Poland's airspace experienced a violation overnight when an unidentified object entered its territory, prompting an immediate response. The country activated the SPO13 procedure, a crisis management protocol designed for air raid warnings. This involved sounding alarm sirens and scrambling a Polish F-16 fighter jet to intercept the object. The incident lasted for about 13 minutes before the object disappeared. Authorities have located a potential impact site near Tarnawa-Kolonia. Minister of Interior and Administration Marcin Kierwiński confirmed the activation of the SPO13 procedure, emphasizing it as the quickest way to inform the public of a threat. He stated that services have been working at the scene since early morning. Prime Minister Donald Tusk convened a coordination team with the Defense Minister and relevant services to address the situation, receiving continuous updates on the circumstances.
