Police Exhume Body of Prosecutor's Household Head Amid Suspicious Death Claims

The exhumation of Sutrimo, reportedly the head of household for former senior prosecutor Febrie Adriansyah, has been ordered by the Jakarta Metropolitan Police due to suspicious circumstances surrounding his death. Sutrimo was discovered deceased with foam around his mouth outside the Mordent beauty clinic in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.

The exhumation, conducted on Wednesday in Banyumas, Central Java, was attended by the victim's legal representative, Aan Rohaeni. She observed that Sutrimo's body was intact when removed from the grave, showing no signs of decomposition, though his abdomen was slightly distended. The family has entrusted the forensic team with determining the exact cause of death.

Rohaeni stated that the family consented to the exhumation because of conflicting information circulating about Sutrimo's demise. The process aims to provide clarity and certainty regarding the cause of death. A joint forensic team conducted a three-stage examination, including external and internal checks of the body, with samples sent for laboratory analysis to aid in determining the manner and cause of death. Officials anticipate lab results within two to three weeks.
