Police on Slavonski Brod murder: 36-year-old woman stabbed 71-year-old partner, tested at 2.03 permille

Authorities in Slavonski Brod, Croatia, have completed a criminal investigation into a 36-year-old woman suspected of fatally stabbing her 71-year-old partner. The incident took place inside their family home on Friday around 11:10 p.m., following a verbal dispute.

According to the Brod-Posavina Police Department, the suspect allegedly inflicted a single stab wound with a knife on her partner during the argument. The victim died at the scene from the injury. An on-site investigation was conducted in cooperation with the County State Attorney's Office and police officers.

At the time of her arrest, the 36-year-old woman's blood alcohol content was measured at 2.03 permille. She was handed over to the detention supervisor of the Police Administration of Brod-Posavina County with a criminal complaint filed with the County State Attorney's Office on suspicion of committing the crime of aggravated murder.
