Police Provide Health Services to Delayed Passengers at Soekarno-Hatta Airport

Police at Soekarno-Hatta Airport responded to delayed departures by distributing snacks and drinks and offering health services to passengers.

Personnel from the Terminal 2 police unit, working with other stakeholders, provided assistance at the Terminal 2E check-in counters on Sunday. They also monitored the terminal area to keep conditions safe, orderly and under control.

The airport police medical team, traffic officers and police post personnel extended services across Terminals 1, 2 and 3. The assistance included blood-pressure checks, masks, advice to wear masks, vitamins and medicines according to passengers’ needs.

Airport Police Chief Wisnu Wardana said the operation showed the police and other stakeholders’ presence in supporting airport users, particularly people affected by delayed departures. “We are here with stakeholders to provide services to the public,” he said. “Besides keeping the situation safe and orderly, personnel are also helping airport users through the distribution of snacks, drinks, health services, masks, vitamins and medicines as needed.”

Officers continued monitoring passenger activity and terminal conditions to anticipate overcrowding and possible public-order problems. Police said the three terminals remained safe and under control, and urged passengers to follow officers’ instructions, check official flight-service information and contact nearby personnel or the 110 police hotline if they needed assistance.
