Police Seek Help Finding Missing Mother and Daughter

Latvian police are appealing for public assistance in locating Liene Janševska, born in 1995, and her young daughter, Elīza, aged two and a half. The pair was last seen in Cēsis on August 12 and their current whereabouts remain unknown.

Janševska is described as being around 175 centimeters tall with a round build. She has long, dark hair and freckles on her face. At the time of her last sighting, she was reportedly wearing a red sweater, black leggings, and white Adidas sneakers. She was also carrying a white handbag.

Authorities have released photographs of both Janševska and Elīza and are urging anyone who may have seen them or has any information regarding their possible location to come forward. Information can be provided by calling the state police emergency number 112 or the direct police line 29150012.

The State Police are actively investigating the disappearance and are following all available leads. The public's cooperation is considered crucial in ensuring the safe return of the mother and child.
