Polish Trust Ranking: Sikorski Gains on Nawrocki, Tusk Trails

Karol Nawrocki continues to hold the highest level of trust among Poles, according to a recent IBRiS poll for Onet. However, his advantage over other political figures has narrowed in the past month.

Nawrocki is the only politician in the ranking trusted by over half of the respondents, with 50.2% expressing confidence in him, while 44.8% do not. This represents a slight decrease of 1.1 percentage points in trust compared to the previous month.

Following Nawrocki is Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, who has seen a notable increase in trust. Sikorski is now trusted by 43.6% of respondents, a gain of 2.1 percentage points from the previous month. This marks his best performance in the ranking since February.

Rounding out the top positions are Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, who garners 41.1% trust but also faces a significant increase in distrust (50.2%). Prime Minister Donald Tusk ranks fourth, with 36.9% trusting him, a slight increase from last month, but he faces the highest level of distrust at 58.9%.
