Porsche Plays in Toy Story. But in the Real World

Porsche's Sonderwunsch department has once again pushed the boundaries of imagination, unveiling three unique 911 models inspired by characters from the beloved Toy Story franchise. These creations, timed with the upcoming release of Toy Story 5, draw inspiration from Woody, Jessie, and Buzz Lightyear, showcasing the brand's commitment to highly individualized customer projects.

The Woody-inspired model is a 911 Carrera T featuring a distinctive blue paint that mimics denim, achieved through a novel technique of embedding actual denim fabric into the fresh paint. Gold and black accents, along with sheriff star-inspired wheels, complete the exterior. The interior boasts yellow leather with red patterns reflecting Woody's shirt, brown leather reminiscent of old toys, and unique details like a "Ride Like the Wind!" door sill illumination and a Pixar ball motif on the gear shifter.

Jessie, the yodeling cowgirl, lends her spirit to a 911 Targa 4 GTS. This model sports a special Jessie White Metallic paint with a pearlescent finish, accented by blue and yellow details and hand-painted red lines mirroring her outfit. The Targa roof's light trim evokes Jessie's hat, and the classic "Targa" lettering is replaced with her name. Inside, dark blue leather, red stitching, and denim-like materials dominate, with floor mats featuring a black-and-white cow print pattern.

These bespoke vehicles represent a significant investment of time, with specialists spending over 350 hours on each example. This initiative builds on Porsche's history of unique collaborations, including the 2022 "911 Sally Special" inspired by the character Sally Carrera from Disney Pixar's 'Cars,' which was auctioned for $3.6 million to benefit charity.
