Porsche's most powerful 911 history arrives in Argentina

Porsche has introduced its most potent 911 variant to Argentina with the arrival of the new 911 Turbo S. This latest model boasts a high-performance hybrid system, a first for the iconic 911 family, pushing its total output to an impressive 711 horsepower.

Nordenwagen, the official importer and distributor, presented the new sports car, which is available in both Coupé and Cabriolet body styles. The powertrain is a sophisticated blend of a 3.6-liter, twin-electrically assisted turbocharged boxer engine. The combustion engine alone produces 640 horsepower, but the integrated hybrid system elevates the combined power to 711 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. This advanced setup enables the new 911 Turbo S to achieve a blistering 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in just 2.5 seconds, with a maximum speed of 322 km/h, solidifying its status as the most powerful and fastest production 911 in the brand's history.

The T-Hybrid technology incorporates electric turbochargers designed to mitigate the typical response lag associated with conventional turbo systems. This innovation aims to deliver more immediate power delivery without altering the fundamental boxer engine architecture that has defined the model for decades. Visually, the Turbo S retains the classic 911 design cues but features enhancements such as a widened body, larger side air intakes, and an active rear spoiler, along with other exclusive details to distinguish it from the rest of the range. Standard equipment includes the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) active suspension, high-performance ceramic brakes, active aerodynamics, and adaptive sports seats, complemented by a Bose sound system and a leather-trimmed interior.
