Portable taunts Okocha with track after rematch

Street-pop singer Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, has quickly turned the aftermath of his controversial celebrity boxing rematch against Nollywood actor Charles Okocha into a diss track. The release comes just days after Portable was disqualified during their bout in Lagos.

The fight, dubbed "Unfinished Business," was the main event at the Chaos in the Ring event. It was billed as a rematch of their contentious first encounter, which Okocha had argued was unfairly judged in Portable's favor. During the bout, the contest devolved into a wrestling-like scuffle that the referee struggled to control, prompting security intervention.

In the ensuing confusion, Portable exited the ring before a definitive ruling could be made, drawing boos from the audience. He was eventually brought back and disqualified. Portable's new song criticizes the officiating and the chaotic conclusion. He mocks the referee for turning away during the scuffle and threatens to settle scores through local wrestling if provoked again. He also accuses Okocha of attempting to choke him, which he claims led to the fight becoming a street brawl.

This defeat marks Portable's second loss in the ring. He previously lost to Carter Efe by unanimous decision on May 1st at the same venue. After his first loss to Okocha, Portable stated he was paid ₦50 million for lasting one round and claimed organizers had promised ₦100 million for completing two rounds, asserting his music career remained unaffected.

The event also showcased other boxing matches. Basit Adebayo stopped Said Chino, and Suleiman Jafaru knocked out Samuel Antwi. Michael Babalola maintained his undefeated record with a unanimous decision over Abidemi Rabiu. Shiloh Defreitas outpointed Eric Quarm, and Yusuf Adeniji defeated Rilwan Lawal on points. The influencer bout between Idowest and Mr Real, who have disputed the ownership of the term "Legbègbe," ended in a draw.
