Power Cuts of Up to 10 Hours Scheduled for July 28-29 in Lima and Callao for Holiday Maintenance

Residents in several districts of Lima and Callao will face scheduled power outages between July 28 and July 30. Pluz Energía announced these temporary interruptions are for essential maintenance and improvement of the electrical grid. The planned cuts are part of preparations for the Fiestas Patrias holiday.

While the outages are temporary, some sectors could be without electricity for up to 10 hours. The company has released a detailed schedule outlining the specific districts, zones, and times affected. This information allows residents to make necessary preparations.

Key areas impacted include Lima Cercado, San Miguel, San Juan de Lurigancho, San Martín de Porres, Independencia, and Ventanilla. Parts of Callao will also experience disruptions. For instance, in Lima Cercado, specific zones along Av. Venezuela and Jr. Antenor Orrego will be affected on July 28. On July 30, areas in Callao along Av. 2 de Mayo and Av. Argentina, as well as multiple streets in San Miguel, will experience outages.
