Prabowo hosts Independence Day ceremony crew, offers direct praise

President Prabowo Subianto personally hosted and expressed his gratitude to all personnel who contributed to the 81st Indonesian Independence Day ceremony. The gathering took place at his private residence in Hambalang, Bogor Regency, West Java, on Wednesday.

The event brought together members of the Paskibraka (flag-hoisting troop), ceremony commanders, air performers, paratroopers from Kopassus, and other performers from the August 17th celebration at the Merdeka Palace. Secretary of the Cabinet, Teddy Indra Wijaya, conveyed President Prabowo's pride and thanks, stating, "President Prabowo Subianto met and conveyed his thanks and pride to the ceremony officers involved in the series of commemorations of the 81st Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia on August 17."

During the meeting, President Prabowo also delivered a message encouraging the officers to sustain their spirit, unity, and pride in their roles. He emphasized that the valuable experience gained should serve as a foundation for continued contribution to the nation. "In this meeting, the President conveyed a message to continue to maintain the spirit of togetherness and pride as part of the commemoration of independence," said Seskab Teddy, relaying the President's words.

President Prabowo specifically acknowledged the discipline and spirit demonstrated by all ceremony officers during their duties at the Merdeka Palace. Seskab Teddy noted that the officers, including Paskibraka members, commanders, pilots, paratroopers, and cultural performers, had delivered their best contributions and dedication to ensure the success of the Proclamation's Minute Ceremony and the entire independence celebration, which was described as solemn and entertaining for millions of viewers.
