Prabowo Inaugurates 3,395 TNI/Polri Bridges and 3,000 Clean Water Sources

President Prabowo Subianto officially inaugurated 3,395 bridges constructed by the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and National Police (Polri), alongside 3,000 clean water sources developed by the TNI Army. The ceremony took place on Thursday, August 13, 2026.

"With the grace of Bismillahirrahmanirrahim, on this morning, Thursday, August 13, 2026, I, Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, hereby inaugurate 3,395 TNI and Polri bridges, and 3,000 TNI Army clean water sources," Prabowo announced during the event.

He expressed gratitude to the TNI and Polri, emphasizing their role as the people's military and police, dedicated to serving the Indonesian populace. The inauguration included a virtual ceremony for the 'Precision Red and White Bridge' in various regions, with the main event centered in Kampung Bayah Satu, Lebak Regency, Banten.

One of the bridges inaugurated connects Desa Bayah Barat with Desa Darmasari, directly benefiting around 8,000 residents by improving access. The 'Precision Red and White Bridge' program is part of the Polri's efforts to address basic infrastructure needs in communities, especially in rural areas facing access limitations. To date, the Polri has built and revitalized 895 bridges across 30 regional commands, spanning a total length of 19.2 kilometers. These bridges connect 1,314 villages and have benefited approximately 2 million people, facilitating easier access to schools, health facilities, places of worship, and economic centers.
