Prabowo visits new homes for relocated residents in Senen

President Prabowo Subianto personally inspected the new homes of residents who were relocated from the Senen railway tracks in Central Jakarta on Friday night.

The residents, who previously lived in precarious conditions along the railway, welcomed Prabowo with enthusiasm, with many capturing the moment on their mobile phones. The President toured the interior of the new dwellings and engaged in conversations with the community, including embracing several children.

Sharing the visit on his social media, Prabowo stated, "Tonight meeting residents in their new homes. They previously lived in the area along the Senen Station railway tracks in Jakarta." He conveyed his hope that the new housing would offer a more dignified, safe, and comfortable living environment for all families.

During his visit, residents expressed their gratitude to Prabowo, offering prayers for his health and long life. This inspection builds on a previous visit in March 2026, where Prabowo had dialogued with the community and pledged the government's commitment to swiftly construct adequate housing for them.
