President Nausėda Expresses Condolences on the Death of Professor Usonis

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda has conveyed his deep sympathy following the passing of Professor Vytautas Usonis, a distinguished figure in the nation's medical community. The President lauded Usonis as an outstanding pediatrician, infectologist, scientist, and educator whose life's work was devoted to enhancing children's health, advancing medicine, and improving public well-being.

According to the Presidency, Professor V. Usonis was recognized for his service in 2017 when he was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of the Grand Duke Gediminas.
