President Prabowo Arrives at Parliament to Deliver Two State Speeches

President Prabowo Subianto arrived at the Parliament Complex in Jakarta on Friday, August 14, to deliver crucial state addresses. His arrival preceded the commencement of the State Annual Session of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) and the Joint Session of the House of Representatives (DPR) and the Regional Representative Council (DPD).

President Prabowo was welcomed by key legislative leaders, including MPR Chairman Ahmad Muzani, DPD Chairman Sultan Najamuddin, and other DPR and DPD leaders. Prior to the President's arrival, several prominent figures had already taken their places, including Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, former Presidents Joko Widodo and Jusuf Kalla, former Vice Presidents Boediono and Jusuf Kalla, along with numerous cabinet ministers.

The President is slated to deliver two significant speeches today. The first, the State Address and Report on State Institutions' Performance, is scheduled for 08:30 WIB during the joint session of the MPR, DPR, and DPD. This address typically outlines the government's achievements and future plans.

Following this, President Prabowo will deliver a second presidential address during a plenary session of the DPR at 13:00 WIB. This session is a key event in the parliamentary calendar, where the president addresses the nation on important matters.
