President Prabowo Holds Full Cabinet Meeting at Presidential Palace

President Prabowo Subianto presided over a full cabinet meeting at the Presidential Palace on Monday, July 20, 2026.

A significant number of high-ranking officials were present, including Coordinating Minister for Economy Airlangga Hartarto, Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan, Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and Prisons Yusril Ihza Mahendra, and Coordinating Minister for Politics and Security Djamari Chaniago, along with Deputy Coordinating Minister for Politics and Security Lodewijk Freidrich Paulus. Other ministers in attendance included those for Primary and Secondary Education, Higher Education, Science and Technology, Religious Affairs, Human Rights, Villages and Underdeveloped Regions, and Agriculture.

Hasan Nasbi indicated that the plenary session, scheduled to begin at 3:00 PM Western Indonesian Time, would likely involve directives from the President regarding the acceleration of development programs and key presidential initiatives. He advised the media to await further details once the meeting commenced, acknowledging that he did not possess specific knowledge of the discussions. The last full cabinet meeting, held on Friday, March 13, 2026, focused on preparations for Eid al-Fitr and discussed austerity measures in response to potential crises stemming from regional conflicts.
