President recalled Kazakhstan's steadfast position amid global conflicts

Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has reiterated the nation's firm stance on resolving global conflicts exclusively through peaceful and diplomatic means. During a press briefing following negotiations with the President of Cyprus, Tokayev expressed concern over the escalating geopolitical situation and the increasing number of conflicts worldwide.

Tokayev highlighted the alignment between Kazakhstan and Cyprus on many international issues. He stressed that both nations strictly uphold the principle that conflicts must be settled peacefully and adhere to the UN Charter and fundamental principles of international law. Kazakhstan's respect for the territorial integrity of other states was also emphasized as a core tenet of its foreign policy.

Both leaders agreed to enhance cooperation within international structures such as the UN and OSCE to actively contribute to global peace and stability. Tokayev described Cyprus as a reliable European partner and expressed confidence that joint efforts would elevate the mutually beneficial cooperation between their countries to a new level. This commitment underscores Kazakhstan's active role in promoting international law and stability.
